We built our house as a family home, with two spacious apartments, one on each floor, big terraces and a lot of space around the house with an outdoor barbeque grill and a large table under the pine tree. There is a wonderful view of the sea and the nearby islands from every terrace that stretches all the way down to Makarska and the Peljesac peninsula. Support walls of all the gardens with mediterranean herbs (lavender, rozmarin, etc.), are made of stone using the old traditional technique and so blend in the local surroundings and give the entire place a stamp of authenticity. There are a dozen olive trees around the house, which produce enough olives for us to make our own olive oil every year, and we use the lavender flowers to make small souveniers that we give to our guests as a memento for staying in our house. Apartment walls are lined with numerous nature photographs and paintings created by eminent croatian painters. Behind the house there is a 125m2 parking place for our guests that is illuminated at night. The house is situated in Mimice, a small village half way between Split and Makarska.
