The House Hektorovic is a stone house built in 13th century; it is situated in the centre of the town Hvar, in the part "Groda" which is just a few meters apart from the town square. The famous Croatian poet Petar Hektorovic owned this house. He lived and wrote in the town Hvar (1487.-1572.). Our house is on a very attractive position because of its closeness to the square, the harbour and all cultural events, museums, numerous monuments, and closeness to entertainment and night life. There is a garden in south side that separates the house from the square that makes our accommodation peaceful and quiet. This house with excellent position and closeness to the square, offers you peace and possibility of relaxing. We, as hosts gladly talk, help and give information. Near the house there is everything you might need such as: a market, a supermarket, a pharmacy, café bars, restaurants, tourist offices where you can rent a scooter, a car, a boat, or arrange an excursion… In the house there is a restaurant with garden where you can enjoy and taste a lot of Dalmatian authentic specialties. There are two air-conditioned rooms with bathrooms, refrigerators (mini bar) and tables to have your breakfast at, rooms are on the third floor. Sheets and towels are included in the price. The southern side of the house has a view to the cathedral and the northern side to the town fortress.
