Acknowledged by UNESCO in 1997 as possessing a deservedly rich historical and cultural content - castles, churches and palaces, this city also sports the famous jewel of Trogir - the riviera. It encompasses the whole of the south side of the city and provides shelter for many of the world's famous jet setter yachts (Ecclestone, princess of Monaco and others). Access is readily available.
